Graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Padova (1999); PhD in Animal Science at the University of Padova (2003). Researcher and teacher at the University of Padova since 2005. Author and co-author of more than 200 original scientific documents, including research papers (87 articles indexed by Scopus), communications at congresses, chapters of books both at a national and at an international level

- Development of analytical methodologies for food evaluation mainly related to fibrous and protein fractions for both monogastric and ruminants
- Development of extraction methodologies and characterization of fatty acid profiles using gas chromatographic equipment
- Development of in vitro techniques for the evaluation of gastrointestinal digestive processes and fermentative processes, both for monogastric and ruminants
- Development of NIRs methodologies for the prediction of food composition, animal products (meat, milk), feces, blood parameters, and ruminal fermentative parameters
