Teaching Activities

Teaching activities of PhD Students are planned and coordinated with Supervisors consistently with the Educational Offer  of the PhD Course. The activities must be listed in the  Individual PhD Training program  which is submitted to the PhD Council for approval three months within the start of the PhD program.

Courses other than those listed below can be included at the choice of the student/supervisor among the teaching activities shared by the PhD Courses of the School of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of the University of Padova.

During the first year, the PhD students attend the teaching activities corresponding to the minimum ECTS requirements in “Disciplinary training activities” and in “Cross-curricular training activities and soft skills Courses”. During the second year, secondments abroad and presentation of preliminary results at national and international congresses are previewed. The third year is mainly devoted to writing scientific papers and PhD thesis.
