Curriculum vitae
Graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Padova (1989); PhD in Animal Science at the consortium of Universities among Padova, Florence, and Udine (1994). Full professor in Animal breeding and genetics at the University of Padova since 1993. Vice President at the Horse Commission of the European Association of Animal Production and Expert at Italian Ministry of Agriculture for the genetic improvement of small autochthonous cattle breeds, and the Italian Heavy Draught Horse breed. Member of the Commission for the Supervision of Teaching Quality (CPQD; Quality assurance system at the University of Padua). Author and co-author of more than 250 original scientific documents, including research papers, communications at congresses, chapters of books both at a national and at an international level.
